AICE Media Studies

 This film was so fun to shoot. I think me and the cast really enjoyed the time that we filmed and we did everything safely. Hope you enjoy this film. 

the app that we currently are using is the app iMovie. this is an easy accessible app and one can do editing that is needed for the film. One down fall is that to add music it isn’t always the best. However, we worked best with the song choices. We put the order of the clips that we wanted in order. We then we added some transitions to the video so it can be smooth.  We then added the music to the back. After that we added the title design to the film. 

 Now that we have filmed everything it is time to edit. First we gathered all the clips and cut the times that we had to do. Some of the clips were very long or and unnecessary footage that we didn't need. This was also important because we need to have a certain amount of time as well. While filming a goal was to get enough footage for that. originally we had two songs that we wanted to use in the film. However, we changed it again to some different songs. we wanted something that goes with the genres of our film and we believed the ,music that we originally didn't really go with the film. After we had to decide how and in which app or where we will edit the clips.  

We have finished filming. After a lot of planning and filming we have finished. Now its time to edit. However first I will explain the process of filming the last scenes. We had to shoot the scene of the car driving off. Just like the other streets that involved the road it was hard to film. This is due to safety hazards with car passing by. We did have to film this scene multiple times. We didn't want the video o be cut so we had to make it so that the video would be smooth. The lighting was also had problems with. sometimes it was too dark and then too light. 

 for this filming project we used a variety of equipment. The equipment that we used came down to what we filmed with and the props. We had to use cell phones to film our scenes and the scenes that we have left to film. We used our dinner table as a setting and our house an an location. Equipment that we had around was a first aid kit just incase anyone got hurt. Since we are filming on a road it is important that we are careful and have to be prepared for any injury.  We would also need a computer or a separate piece of a device in which we can edit all the clips or scenes that we took. The equipment is what makes the whole production and film happen. Without equipment the film would not be possible. 

After we had filmed the the car scene we took a short break and paused on filming. This is due to there being spring break. Our spring break was from 3/19 to 2/28. We filmed the earlier scenes in the beginning and then enjoyed the rest of our spring break. We started filming the point of view inside the car. This was difficult for the same reason as before. which is getting the camera steady enough that the quality is good. another thing that me and my partner had in consideration was to try and keep the quality the same. this is important so that when we edit all the clips it looks smooth and not cut. the scene inside the car was a somewhat last minute add it. we thought it would give a deeper sense of sorry to the audience.
